Excellent product design and development are critical to having a crowd-pleasing product. A key element of product design is manufacturability. At Ascend, we take pride in design with manufacturing in mind.

Documentation

Proper product design and documentation can make or break your project. Every project we work on starts with reviewing the design documentation. Proper documentation keeps factories accountable and allows us to more accurately assess all costs.

For our clients, we offer minor engineering design updates for free. We go above and beyond by giving documentation a second look to make sure everything is optimal for production.

Tech Packs

A tech pack is a compilation of all the technical information about your product. It is essential for both designers and production teams when prototyping and manufacturing products, as it clearly communicates every little detail about what you are making, to your manufacturer.

CAD Modeling

We use CAD software to produce a digital model of your product. This helps you visualize your product in 3D and allows us to rapidly make changes until you are satisfied with the design.

3D Printing

Documents are great, and absolutely essential in assuring consistency and quality on all your products. But sometimes it helps to see a drawing come to life. 3D printing gives you access to see either production parts or full three-dimensional renderings of your product long before you are ready to invest in making them to scale.

Whether working on v2 of your products or designing a new product completely, this is another Value-Add service we offer.

Prototyping

Prototyping is a fundamental part of the product development process. 3D printing, resin casting, CNC machining, and welding are some of the methods we use to quickly create product prototypes.
